There are some good options for lenders in our market however I would love to know if there is a lender that you have used that you love. 

What are my options?

We tried to stay positive and hopeful that we would see the value in the program and that it would be worth our time and money, but we were just kidding ourselves.

At closing the deal will be funded, the mortgage will be subsequently recorded in 1st position, and you'e off and running. 

Note: I left my corporate job over a year ago and building a startup (beyond real estate) so I believe this limits my options re mortgages, yes?  

Hello, I am looking for the best financing options for a second home which intend to buy land and then build.

I am under contract with a duplex and I’m currently shopping my mortgage options.

While an appreciation play makes perfect sense to some (ie. if you see the price of your newly purchased house increase by 3.3% a year, in 3 years you will have gained 10% equity - which would be $20,000 on a $200,000 house), you have to be in a position to sustain that purchase.  

If capital call is optional, I would stay out of it.I was in a similar situation once before.
