Either way, I'd have my attorney look over the contract immediately so you can get your ducks in a row for the next discussion and so you have a legal opinion about your rights in the event things get ugly.Lastly, take lots of photos of the current condition ASAP so you cover yourself in case the job gets "altered" by a miffed contractor.

We once showed a house without appliances, but we had photos of the appliances that would be installed for people to see.  

I read your bio, and I for one, would be happy to see a photo of your cute dog. :) 

They have an average of 13 days on market (the last couple of properties I looked at from them went from active to pending within a week), and I love the quality of their listing photos.  

I recommend you have your other tenants or neighbors who are complaining provide you with photos, dates and times.
