If you're just starting out, I recommend the Bigger Pockets Ultimate Beginners Guide (free downloadable PDF book).For networking connections you've certainly come to the right place.I also usually recommend people attend local real estate investor groups but the two I know of in the area (Black Diamond REI and RI real estate investors) both canceled their upcoming meetings due to coronavirus.However I'd definitely recommend keeping that in the back of your mind for when in-person meetings are a thing again :)Beyond that, after you check out the ultimate beginners guide feel free to post specific questions you have about your first property purchase here as well.

I know that NJ has a standard residential lease agreement that can be found online, downloaded and tweaked.

;-)I want something the guest can use on their own device (probably phone) without having to download an app.

Not sure if these forms are only available as downloads for "pro" membership.... but I'm pretty sure you can purchase state-specific lease agreements from BP.

@Ali NurmohamedThere are many boilerplate leases on the internet that you can download; however, I would suggest you have the final lease you plan to use reviewed by an attorney (preferably the attorney that will be handling your evictions).

I go through refi's and mortgage qualification so often that I just keep a Google Drive folder with all my key details in it.
