In a triplex building, one of my tenants caused a grease fire in one of my units by walking away from frying bacon in an air fryer (admitted by the tenant) which caused major interior damage to the unit only because they mismanaged the fire poorly by turning on the vent-o-hood and opening the back door.

Anyway, I was working in one of the upstairs bedrooms where I had identified some water damage and so I begin to cut away the paneling under the window and when I pulled it back, HELLO, there was an active yellow jacket nest that was about the size of a Cantaloupe Melon.
