We say we're not supposed to time the market but I do believe the Austin market will appreciate in the coming years due to recent price drops, reductions in interest rates and influx of tech jobs.

I also travel for my other job so I'm willing to meet up in NY, NJ, MD, DC, DE and beyond! 

This level of rent increase also corresponds to what most people receive in Cost Of Living increases with their jobs.

Not sure about Wichita, but in my market, you should be able to get a good handy man right now, and pretty fast because of the seasonality of their work, at least for bigger jobs.

. :) This is common, but the question also is how fundable is your deal?

The main question (in my opinion) is about the number of jobs being created there.
