This is NOT a "learn-by-doing" business - that's called malfeasance and, in some jurisdictions, it's prosecutable.One of MY big beefs on here is when the rent is due on the 1st and people start OD'ing on Maalox at 12:01am on the 2nd because the payment didn't arrive.

And Jekyll was certainly proud of having discovered, and fixed, all these issues prior to my arrival.

It has (arguably) the best natural harbor in the United States and is one of the top 3 import locations in the US, despite most imports arriving from China. 

Also you will find many folks on BP in cities such as Dallas, Austin, SLC, Phoenix, Denver, Raleigh, Charlotte, Nashville, etc all saying they have lost of recent arrivals from such coastal areas.

I do need people to manage the holiday rentals for me, the laundry, cleaning and meeting guests when they arrive ... so if you have some reliable people to manage the holiday rental period (summer), I would love some recommendations :) Good luck!

You could start to get licenses in Colorado so when you arrive you already have everything and can hit the ground running.

But there are exciting developments like this in nearly every city center around Denver, of different design of course.When you arrive, I would recommend you consider taking a look at some of these other areas that may be a bit more affordable than downtown, and may have great equity potential in the longer run.

For example, someone mis-measures an area of the kitchen which means that last cabinet just doesn't fit, which means you have to order a different one, which means you're behind schedule, and then two days after it's supposed to arrive you get an email saying it's on backorder and will take another month, which means you're either going to list it with an unfinished kitchen (not ideal) or you're not going to sell it when planned.
