I was wondering if it is a good idea to pay for a house ( or majority of it) using a credit card?  

Almost 2 years of trying to wholesale (alone and in partnerships), I started actively looking to buy something/anything the summer of 2013, had 2 failed condo contracts, moved into one of those condos as a 'rent with the first option to buy' before finally finding this property via a direct mail of July 4th cards I sent in 2014 and being in contract for 7 months before finally closing.LESSON: Stay focused and don't give up, you are bound to get where you are headed.

It takes at least $500/mo in direct marketing costs mailing letters / post cards.  

She always paid on time and never gave me any trouble, so to show my appreciation I purchased a little "welcome basket" for her upon moving in, and on her birthday gave her a card and gift card to a local restaurant.

They get an auto generated invoice emailed to them 7 days before rent is due and they can pay by EFT or credit card.  

The best way I have found to find off market deals is to watch the evening news and read the newspapers.Yep,watch the news long enough and you will hear bad things like "Oil companies announce layoffs" "Sears closing ten stores in 60 days".Many of those scared and depressed employees need to sell their homes fast and will accept whatever lifeline you through at them before they miss a payment and the banks come banging on their doors.Go to the closing store or business with plenty of fliers and cards and put them under their windshield wipers or hand them out as they leave the store.Good chance one or two of the mid level managers and senior employees will call you asking what you might pay for it.Going to Bible Studies groups and prayer groups can be great as well with everyone praying they find a new job soon or just became a widowed spouse or lost their parents.Get to them before they call a real estate agent for help.

One of the things in my life, when I’ve utilized it, that’s helped me a great deal, is keeping a journal with me at all times.The value is tremendous.It seems like such a small thing, but I encourage you to try it for one week.My recommendation is you buy a notebook that has 5 sections.The first section you’ll use to write down thoughts as they come to you.The second section will be to write down things you have to do; your to-do list.The third section will be to add entries to your calendar.These are things you know you need to be doing on a certain date, but may not be able to, at the current moment in time, be able to access your calendar.The fourth section will be any type of items you want to purchase.This could be a shopping list, all the way up to the house you passed on your last driving for dollars tour of your farm area.The fifth section will be a contacts section.You’ll add to this throughout the day of people you meet.I always keep paper clips in my vehicle so I can add business cards to this section.When you arrive home (at whatever time of day is appropriate), simply transpose all of the information appropriately into whatever electronic format is appropriate for you.By the time you do your daily planning at night (for the next day’s activities), this notebook should be clean and ready to go.Keep rockin’.

That's probably your last card to play before you're better off walking back into the jungle to hunt another property down.

Anywhere the light rail runs would be considered a path of development, as there is an obvious need for alternative transportation, which to me means area growth. 

So I've got a great idea for a company name that I'd like to put on business cards, use on a website I'll be creating, use as my signature in emails, the whole nine yards.
