Sorry, Yes you are wrong.Your little blurb has plenty of idoms but no real backing.The person who is suffering is the seller you can't help as an agent because their home went down in value and has to become a landlord all of the sudden because you won't take a look at this as a solution.

If i won the lottery, and suddenly had access of $1,000,000 dollars in tax free money.

Imagine if you lived in a house for years, ignored the "system" on getting on a payment plan, and all of a sudden house is taken over by someone that you dont know. 

Now all of a sudden it is "sometimes I watch my mom's dog."

All of the sudden I was living there for free after they paid rent,  and I could use my money to go ATV up north and down south.Relationship statuses changed,  roommates moved out and I started to see that Real Estate Investing might be something I should pursue. 

The process of making offers forces you to learn deal evaluation because suddenly everything is real and you don't want to overpay but you also want to eventually win a deal.

If they get deported, I suddenly have a unit abandoned, or even worse, half a family (wife and kids?)

Some of them were hot and heavy in here, getting into debates some bragging etc then all of a sudden accounts closed.
