A few things here to make it smooth: Yes it must be in an interest bearing acct, the bank will know when you tell them you need to open up a tenant acct (savings) / landlord security deposit acct.

For a property to run smoothly you will need a team of people who can manage and repair it.

The "syndication" is generally sharing investment opportunities past the "lead investor" who is the biggest check writer or writing entity that is passive.
