I ask specifically because I came across this company via social media and there are many who are running some sort of scam.

And considertaion to date is 7 figures so its not 1,200 bucks LOL I wasn't comparing your operation MV Realty. that was a pretty stunning article I cant imagine who thought that up and who thought that would fly.. wow.. thanks for sharing that.Personally, it's hard for me to feel too bad for the sellers since they weren't being scammed. 

They are totally aware of these scams and what bad wholesalers do and most, like me, would run a bad wholesaler out of town into a jail if the opportunity arises.

I can appreciate your concern for other people getting scammed, but you shouldn't speak about people you don't know.

We spent over 90,000 to join this scam and they took our money and ran.

If I were to pursue this further, what should I be looking for, for assurance that I'm not dealing with a scam?

look it up online, there are plenty of postings and websites discussing it with the word "scam'' next to it.
