Until a Successful quiet title action(not all are successful), or a 4 year wait, the tax deed process is a cloud on the title, since the sale can be challenged, perhaps not successfully, but still challenged.

Lower Pottsgrove is a decent area and schools are desirable, so renting the units has not been challenging, but sales could be.I have looked at other properties in Pottstown but even though they look good on paper, I have not purchased them mainly due to age and location.

I couldn't say if that option or long term rentals would be more profitable, depends on price, but I do know of a few people who own long term rentals and are very satisfied with their returns.

Scores are good, but I've got all my money invested in my business, so we'll have a challenge with DTI and also down payment.Would love to find an investor to come in and buy the house and have us be their tenant, but acquisition cost may be too high to justify the return on cash.
