I'd still take more than 100% financing if the asset can generate a DSCR of 125% or better. 

But,If it’s the mobile home only perhaps you could view it as more of a cash generator that would not require you to move into it.

If you can keep house hacking in some form or fashion that would be an amazing wealth generator!

That doesn't mean you can't buy the home, just that you need to be able to qualify for it without counting the rent it will generate.

Hi @Johnny Lau, I went down a similar path to you whereby I built up a portfolio of SFH’s and subsequently moved to multifamily syndication, firstly as a LP and subsequently as a GP.I think that the SFH’s are a great way to get started and to see the power of real estate as a means by which to generate wealth via cash flow, equity upside and tax benefits.

If you invest 10k to purchase a property and that property generates $1k a year in profit then you have a 10% cash on cash return.  10% would be your ratio.
