@Tim Lyons, USUALLY those goofy laws have to do with ppl who own TONS of door.  

I pretty much use realtors for contracts and to be my “eyes” when need be.

This provides another pair of eyes because banks must follow the know-your-customer rule.

Word of caution with out of state note investing.Every month or so I get some knucklehead off of Bigger Pockets who reaches out to me to get some eyes on the house of a note he bought. 9 times out of 10 the investor bought the note in the ghetto for far more than the home is worth.
