I plan to pay the monthly mortgage payment and taxes from my own personal account, but the common utility bills (we pay gas for the whole home) from the business account. 

I am thinking about purchasing a two unit where one side is oil heat and the other is natural gas.

The previous owner was the builder and he even has a 4th meter for gas, he told me he was planning on adding a 4th unit therefore it looks like it was set up with plumbing.

Three years since lease expiration have passed, we would love to finance more realestate deals if we could sell the land for an approriate value........anyone in oil/gas biz??

We're suppose to be getting natural gas, but no one knows when for sure.

I had oil heat in my primary and switched to natural gas when the furnace died...best decision ever.

Do I pay utilities (last yr avg for elec, gas, sewer/water was approx $325/month) and build a similar amt into rent?  

I have a detached back room 231 sq ft that i am currently using for storage has only electricity going to it, 2 ceiling fans, 2 windows, no plumbing, gas, or air conditioning.
