If something were to happen at one of my rental properties and a tenant attempts legal action, they can only sue for the max value of that particular LLC (or property) and not my entire portfolio (is how I understand it).  

I attempted to take something from each and form my own plan but I have some steps missing.

Learn the ins and outs before you attempt to start and it will save you some headaches.

My questions are these: When seeking a broker to hang my license with should I attempt to hang it with a broker that can also function as an investment mentor, or will hanging it with a standard broker like West USA Realty be enough to get started again?
