@Timz Valenzuela, You are moving in the right direction, and congrats on your investment!

You have to front the cost of water and electric but they do all the maintenance for you without having to loop you in (usually through some kind of direct line).

@Talita Oliveira You should search for local OH  self-storage investors here on BP and then reach out to them directly.

It's a pretty light job, needs new flooring, interior and exterior paint, resurfacing the kitchen cabinets, counter tops, landscaping and a few other minor things, doors, trim, broken toilet, ect. 

Options include but not limited to:1) private lending - you can do it directly with flippers or through agencies that offer such services2) invest in the commercial real estate ( can be apartments or other assets) via syndications - you can find a lot of us here on BP. 

Can somebody point me in the right direction of investor friendly lenders or possibly give me some input on how I could finance 5-7 more properties?  

You can only buy homes inside of a Self Directed retirement account, which TSP is not. 

The other I have little hope of them every listening to me as it is one woman and 8 kids under 12, but I flat out said to one of them that if they use the microwave it may blow the lights and if I'm not here I don't know what to say.

I think if you are starting out and only have a direction you want to go vs a foundation of success and failures to build from a mentor is worth a lot more money.
