There is a strong inventory of older properties which can be ripe for flipping however as the previous commenter mentioned, it will certainly not be as ample supply as Phoenix.

@Inna Pakhalyuk- Agree with all comments above- I would try cashing out first.. if not I just closed on a HELOC for an investment property through PenFed (very easy to deal with and no hidden fees).

And I can't wait for some nerd in the comments to say, "well your purchase price was X and then maintenance/holding costs/interest you spent over the years was Y and numbers numbers numbers..."
