You can apply for insurance repayment, but I have never heard of lack of insulation, especially in an old house being a cause to sue someone.

Since owning property I bought from a previous owner we have found many problems caused by the previous owner using unlicensed contractors.Is it possible to sue the previous owner for putting the safety of tenants at risk?

It's even made me much more confident in doing other things like taking a job offer or investing in other properties cause I know at the end of the day if everything else goes wrong I'll always have that house.Yes you could have put that money into another property but now you can take the bigger profits you're getting from the rental and put that toward something else.

They could have gotten married during his current tour (during which he would not have been authorized to move her to his location until his first move--then he would be entitled to his move plus her move...perhaps she needed a lease to cover her until she knew more about his orders).Also, due to funding, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that her husband's orders are being issued with very little notice (in the Navy, they're usually issued 6-9 months in advance, but I'm facing orders myself, and will probably get mine about 2 months out)...expect that to cause additional uncertainty.

.* Replacement parts are difficult to come by* Cannot be moved around a lot, or will cause the furniture to weakenit appears that most of the furniture will last 3 years, but any items that outright break will be replaced out of the security deposits.Again, my strategy was to spend the least amount of money to max out my rent.
