I’ve started off with buying equity in a new build that cash flows as a mid term rental.

Rents will likely start to increase again in 2025 is my thought, but you probably can't wait until then to buy as home prices will have moved up again.   

I am wanting to cash this out and buy more properties. 

You could then use that money to go buy other properties. 

hi, Buying my first 7-plex in FL (already have multiple duplex) and there is some space to add few pre-fabricated shed storage units. 

I agree that it would probably be the easiest to buy an existing duplex or house that has ability to be split or easily added onto.

Would you buy a home here for $800k for this strategy? 

(Please note that I get a significant MSRP discount on my S-W purchases) Emerald is great from a water-based standpoint, but is a lot more pricey and I have not been able to justify buying it for use in my properties outside of one 120 year old banister. 

This allows the sponsor to buy a nearly $50M property with just a few million of investor equity--but it provides zero resiliency to an adverse market. 

But I'm now considering selling that Merced rental and using the equity to buy a San Diego house that I would use as a 2nd home/vacation home & rental.I would rent out a portion of the house & save a space for myself when I visit.
