After putting in numerous bids on reos and talking to other investors the general rule of thumb is 80% of FMV is about as low as you'll get in this market.Most banks are just sitting on properties letting them go to auction every two months until they finally sell.

an attorney can explain title defects to you in much better and accurate detail but sometime peoples will have interest in the property from the numerous chain of past owners you likely have. sometimes those people are overlookes or the title was't recorded accurately or they never filed paperwork with the registry. dependong on the type of title your buying you could be liable for those damages and may have to pay off that interest.

Account Closed,Actually, no - I'm NOT against what you do ...... well, except maybe for the generalizations.Yes - there will always be shysters looking for easy money, and "professional litigants" who think its an honorable way to make a living instead of earning an honest dollar.I don't see that as a justification for not doing what the law allows in terms of guarding your assets.Not everyone who implements asset protection is thief, a cheat or a liar.As I've said numerous times and will always say: nothing is 100%.
