I would compare it to a smaller version of Charleston SC. 1800’s architecture, main strip with shopping right on the water, best beaches in our state all within a 1 mile radius, museums, etc.

Hi all,I am new here and new to Wholesaling / Investing.I am a Residential Designer, almost Licensed Architect, trying to Design / Build my own Projects.I figured Wholesaling could help me do that, while also getting experienced in finding and closing my own Deals.I am trying to Focus on a single Market for Deals and could use some advice.I would focus in my Backyard, but I live in Redondo Beach, South Bay, Los Angeles and the Market here is crazy intimidating.My Brother-in-law is a Realtor and Flipper in Mesa Arizona, so I could focus around the Phoenix area, as he could help.My College Buddy is also a Realtor and Flipper in Plano Texas, so I could focus on the Dallas Fort Worth area as well.I am considering moving to Portland / Hillsboro Area, so maybe focus there.Or, none of the above and just focus on parts of the Country that are hot Real Estate Investor Areas and Wholesale 100% Virtually to them.Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

I had gotten a callback from one of my mailers- a beachfront property in Long Beach that clearly needed to be lifted to get top dollar. 

With the market like it is, can beach rentals still provide sufficient cash flow?

We can see that most of the properties in that price range have a drive to the beach which is understandable given the appreciation that area has experienced. 

The long beach chapter is talking about house hacking this month and I'll be a panelist.
