Hi -- can anyone give a ballpark estimate of the cost and issues involved with taking a room - that was once the garage but now a room - and turning it back into a garage?

My colleagues who walked in the door with me are moving along quickly which is the only reason I made my point.

When the appraiser comes out they will count 6 doors.

I understand you can get 100% financing for this but please tell me HOW MANY BUYERS THAT ARE ABLE TO PAY 8-9k a month are banging down your door??

This first property is almost perfect on the outside, newer vinyl and nice garage with a fenced in yard.

You end up leaving a lot of equity in the rental so that it cash flows.Others look out of state for better cash flow.Realize that some of the advice you will receive is very specific to what people see when they walk out of their door.
