This is them assuming an expense may be 2x rent; if that did happen, it's a major appliance which isn't a common enough issue.I'd push back on this.

Do anyone have Residential warranty( Appliance) for rental properties .I converted my Primary home into a rental .I had residential warranty for appliances such as heater,ac,water heater, microwave etc.It is not a replacement warranty but will cover for parts n labor after a deductible.
