If repetitive monitoring can be done at lower cost (time or dollar), increased accuracy and without Big Brother storing all your data in the cloud, what would you use it for?

My biggest (selfish) problem is that the tasks can be repetitive or mundane when I want to learn something more difficult or a new skillset.
