Sounds like the person knew what was going on with their credit report as they have filed reports in the past. 

The person had something of an accent.

I personally haven't sent postcards, I've had good luck with PPC and Video ads.

This is what I heard third hand, so not sure if it is true but i believe the person got this from the PPM which was noting where the monies were going.

I personally would recommend the last method.

It can come from a personal investor who will negotiate terms, or potentially a piece of the equity.
