Hey Isaiah, I would talk with an accountant that knows real estate for the stuff you mentioned.

In short, you need working windows, no cracking/chipping paint inside/outside, smoke and CO2 detectors inside, no overgrown greenery/trees outside, no holes in the walls, if you have carpet inside - it can't have stains or rips in it, and some other small stuff.

If you have some investors you guys blast the stuff you get, I'm looking for some financial partners for a few projects here in the valley.

Well basically I have had connections to help with the roof on to help gut the house as well as try to GC some of the little bit of stuff I needed done but far as that just the finance guyWhat was the outcome?

So my immediate plan was to try to rent this house as a medium-term, furnished rental (basically leaving all my stuff here, taking a few select things) and moving in with her for a few months to kill a few birds with one stone - MTR income, not having to pay for a storage unit for my stuff, saving up more money for a down payment, and caring for my mother.

But again its about recommending to them to pack a sufficient food and drink supply if a storm is possible.We also to try have ice melt and snow shovels on hand, extra blankets and stuff like that.To mitigate some of this think about a full time back up generator to keep the power.  

Don't forget the cost to furnish the house, including linens, kitchen stuff, etc.
