It comes down to what fits your needs—if you want flexibility, go for the HELOC.

Akron does have a lot of potential with its affordable housing, growing job market, and revitalization efforts and could be a good fit for your goals.

When we review Tenant applications that are section 8 subsidized we are struggling to get a good handle on whether a Tenant is financially fit.

A local handyman would fit that bill, and perhaps a couple who could shop for and bring in the consumables.  

There are many different approaches so think through which one best fits your needs, and the tenant class that you have.

The first was in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina (New Orleans won't fit in Jackson) and the second was the aftermath of this pandemic.
