If you don't have a nice nest egg though, it may make sense to go all out Dave Ramsey style and pay the loans off. 

We are always looking for that relationship between landlord and tenant because we want someone who wants to nest and also knows that we are there for them as well. 

The last thing you want to do is destroy some elderly person's nest egg because they're counting on you to avoid foreclosure.

If it is controlled by a T-Stat, I recommend installing a Nest or Honeywell programmable thermostat.

If you feel like you can invest than for better than 7% (I think you can), the nest thing to do would be to sell and reinvest.If you feel 7% is about the best you can do, or you are comfortable with, hold onto it. $1000/mo is a nice foundation to build off of
