Honestly, I would prefer to not attend the hearing because I don’t want to be too defensive or reactive in front of the committee (the office told me she’s going).I decided to call her landlord because I found it odd that after she got the first warning last yr and the hearing notice recently, he wouldn’t have tried to give her any kind of warning.

To clarify, just for general "walking around " knowledge, the Uniform Laws Commissioners wrote the Uniform Residential Landlord Tenant Law, and their committee comments. 

Also keep in mind that loan officers usually want to do a deal so it is in your best interest to provide them with good info that will help your loan pass underwriting and allow your loan officer to make the best possible case on your behalf to their loan committee.

Remember the lender submit the loan to the credit committee and underwriter who will evaluate the risk.
