Please don't pay any kind of money, especially that amount for some kind of Instagram influencer.

I've seen a few folks make that kind of jump, and it's not as off-the-wall as some might think.

I have cleaning services, handymen, plumbers and kind of an electrician I call should the properties need something.

I can say the number of private messages I received lately from people offering private money is off the charts, which I also find comical as they clearly did not read my profile - and yes my response back is not very kind to them. 

While it is great to have those kinds of personal relationships with board members it doesn’t really make much difference in our area due to the nature of the requirements.

I'd consider doing some kind of cash out refi on the property at a number you're both comfortable pulling out, while still leaving $ for reserves to maintain the STR you currently have.

The kind that can’t fill out a form, checks both boxes in an either or situation, and can’t be bothered to respond to calls, texts, or emails.
