I also am former college basketball player (2 year captain at PLU), a volunteer coach in the community and am a part business owner in the catering business that operates the diner at the resort I live in. 

They had movies called things like "Escape from New York" and "The Warriors."  

Sure they're about the warrior mindset, but in a way, what we do requires that very mindset (IMHO).....

Indiana also has two of the biggest professional sports in their city with basketball and football teams.

I am currently one of two captains on the Men's Basketball team here.

If you want to donate to wounded warriors or something then just do that !!

The land is currently zoned for Residential usage though the lot currently has tennis and basketball courts on the land that are set aside as Recreational use.    

But we have minor league baseball and hockey, college basketball, baseball and football, 2 drive in theaters, 2 lakes, 2 malls, multiple golf courses, country clubs, 2 skating rinks, an ice skating rink, museums, orchestras, theaters, some amazing parks, and tons of great food - all within 5 - 30 min away. 45-60 min away you have Amish country, major league baseball, basketball and football, Lake Erie, casinos, 3 airports, etc.

I will not get trapped in comfort zones that will keep me from moving forward but will embrace the warrior spirit within me and move steadfastly toward the prize with nothing to hide, nothing to prove, and nothing to fear, giving all glory to God.

He was still playing in the basketball alumni game until the coronavirus.
