There is a living room, dining room, kitchen, tv room, laundry room and full bathroom.The basement is finished, and has a bathroom with shower stall.

First off, I do not own any apartment buildings and do not play an apartment building owner on TV.

Here is what you need to keep in mind:Interest is not deductible - this is apples to oranges comparison. 

Now, vetting a applicant is not apples to apples. 

If people factored in the costs to operate a property as part of the purchase equation, then perhaps they would be able to compare apples to apples, but that's just not how we value property these days.

It is not as easy as seen on TV.   

Was just sort of curious if there was an easy apples to apples comparison but sounds like probably not.
