My friend said his client nearly bailed when she found unexpected wiring issues behind the kitchen walls..apparantly the seller hadn’t touched that electrical since the Reagan era..but with a patient electrician who understood the local code and a carpenter who improvised a shelving trick in the diningrom, they ended up selling above asking.Flipping and building can get tricky, especially once you start thinking bigger.

Because they got a cute arrangement that wasn't understood on both sides, it's just a waste of time. 

I never really understood the discrepancy in the sub markets except maybe people can wrap their heads around renting out 1 unit versus maybe they are scared of having more then one tenant?

Is there any advantage of DSCR loans over conventional loans or what do you mean by "understood DSCR loans better"?  

It is well understood that humans care more about loss aversion (I don't want to lose my house because the loan is late) than then are to gain elation (I will pay off my mortgage in 10 years).
