How do you make sure you have enough funds to pull the trigger on a deal?

You just got to pull the trigger and learn as you go and adapt as issues come up.

I got a notice saying "Don't worry, your payments will automatically be transferred to us", however my bank didn't recognize the new servicer's info and the payment didn't go through, making us late and again dinging our credit and triggering late fees. 

Before you decide to pull the trigger with any Bank/Lender make sure the they are well versed in DSCR guide lines and close more than a couple a month. 

The best piece of advice I can give is just pull the trigger.

This would be VA loan with 0% down so I might try to pull the trigger here on it soon.
