I would like to do some research on other rental properties before I set my priceComputer algorithms are good for studying a general market, maybe even a neighborhood, but they are terrible for evaluating a specific rental.

Or, ya know, just spend the next 140 hours trying to get a self-study law education followed by another few hundred hours self-study to sort out how to avoid repeating the situation.That's the reality of it all.

I've been doing some studying on short sales but still working to understand it better.

You also want to see a reserve study and only invest in a property where the HOA is at least 30% funded, less than that is assessment territory.
