I was thinking about cutting it with a 7' diamond blade on a grinder and detaching it with a pry bar from the studs in sections. 

The one with three screws that hold the blade in place, not a knob.

I buy blades on eBay for about $1/each (packs of 20+) rather than $10+ at big box and hardware stores.

They used a snake with a large blade and then put their camera down the pipe.

Then I take my buddy and we walk them streets for dollars putting each flier behind car wiper blades …In one night we can drop couple thousands fliers …got some traction that way ..and some angry calls too …pretty cheap way to get to the source plus as far as numbers game ..cant beat it any comments ?

See if you can slide a metal Sawzall blade in there and cut it off if you have the room.

I'd start with a few:Droopy ceiling fan blades - Excessive moisture trapped in ceiling and attic, possible mold spread inside, plumbing problem, roof leak, soggy studs, possible damage to electrical wiring.Cracks on the ceiling - Possible foundation problem, roof leak, or storm and hail damage to roof.Soft spot or dip on the floor on 2nd level - Workmanship on flooring cover, water damage to wood underneath, renovations done from down stairs ceiling created damage.House extension not built on slab or same foundation as the house - Difference in foundation and level.

Lots of people don't know jack about lawnmowers, especially that there are spinning blades that can lop off fingers and toes and puppy dog tails and infant heads. 

I find fan blades often droop due to humidity.
