I agree with everyone else that the downvote is more apt to be used for purposes other than it just being a bad post and the best remedy for a bad post or a bad comment is to quote it and engage with it and give your side.

Now we are more selective.The worst were those with flea infestations, flooded basements, burst pipes throughout & then mold remediation.

For the most part its just health and safety items, which are items we should have remedied anyways.As someone else mentioned, biggest thing to avoid is having the house tagged as vacant which the city will do if it sits empty for too long (handful of months, grass not cut, etc).
