Also most people don't understand that FB suppresses posts so if you wrote 10 blog posts your FB members will usually only see one show up on their news feed...

You can pay for ads or newsfeed posts, and target the areas you want to post to.  

As the Facebook news feed gets more and more saturated/ competitive, Instagram is this spectacular extension of Facebook with over a BILLION users!

Change is hard... people hated the Facebook news feed when it came out... any changes to Gmail are scrutinized to no end, etc... 

Facebook is moving away from sponsored posts in news feeds order to keep and attract more users.
