It must also be executed and acknowledged with the same formality as a property deed.So what got me to thinking about starting this thread is that all of my children are single, but I am thinking about helping them get started in their own business prior to them getting married.What I don’t want to see happen is someone marry them and then kick them to the curb and then want half of everything they worked for or I help them with.

I'm technically not in violation of any law or ordinance by sending the 60-day notice because my tenant has not fulfilled his obligation to pay rent or provided formal notice and documentation, but second lawyer said he wouldn't proceed with eviction.

We’ve already sent her a formal notice requiring her to stop this behavior, and we are considering eviction if the problems persist.how can i politely let her know we cant rplace her heat because those are building heat standar, is not up tp me to add baseball heater. and she has to run he heat 24/7. and we are not add isulations to the unit.

@Michael Anderson If the property had been sold, it would make sense to formally assign the lease and deposit to the new owner and memorialize an agreement to collect and adjust rents after settlement, indemnify the other party for things arising during their respective ownership periods, etc.
