I don't know, but you would 100% want to check in with the existing optometrist, maybe they don't get "walk in" business anyways and do not care and wouldn't mind the like-minded neighbors (I've had mortgage neighbors before, and do not care -- I do mortgages they don't, case in point office mortgages across the country, so I wind up getting business from them), but an ice cream shop is going to be LIVID if you rent the unit next store to a frozen yoghurt shop, since that's a LOT of walk-in business that's now getting split two waysAnd then to make it really fun, here's the question I'll throw back at you.

It's definitely hard to say without knowing more about this situation but when I have had renters who've dealt with identity theft in the past, they had filed a claim, and there would be something clearly noted on the report that a claim of theft had been filed or their credit would've been frozen.

I have heard of thermostats that you can install that have a minimum temperature setting (say, 50 or 55 degrees F) to automatically turn on the heat even if the tenant doesn't have the heater on, and we'd like to put those in to prevent frozen pipes.

This is after averaging out the costs of 1) roof, mechanicals, siding, flooring, etc. and dividing by their life span then also subtracting general maintenance costs (handyman type stuff frozen pipes, etc.) you see each year.
