Upon searching the popular areas my graduate friends suggested (Uptown, The Village, Greenville), I have determined there is no way I can justify renting a property in that range.Funny enough, I am currently living out of a 2 bedroom condo north of Dallas (short term air bnb) for my internship with one of my college friends (we split rent).

The reason why I ask is because that could determine what loan options are available to you (and interest rates). 

It as definitely a way to limit showing and determine if people meet those minimum requirements prior to a show.

I put together a table of these options along with pros/cons to determine the best course of action.  

Great day to all,I've just been soaking up all the online youtube videos from Bigger pockets one after the other and I've made the determination to scale my business massively using the multifamily addition into our (wife and I) portfolio. 

I'm having trouble determining who's a good wholesaler and who's not.

I suppose they would be able to help me figure it out but I’m still trying to determine what is the best way to fund something like this and would it be better to sell off the entire purchase once split into separate parcels or is there a way to structure a deal as to where I could sell off some of the land to repay the loan/investors and also retain a portion of it to develop with my own short term rentals.

I would recommend fixing it and then determining whether or not to sell based on cash flow and profit after the sale.

Interesting, since when did it become HRs problem (or legal right) to determine that "he is supposed to have found housing already".

Consider consulting a real estate attorney or CPA to determine the best strategy based on tax efficiency, future sale plans, and estate considerations.
