I ordered a 3rd party inspection and a list of items came back that needs to be (leaking pipe under sink, rodent infestation in the attic, downspout that needs securing, sewer vent pipe out to the attic, missing smoke detectors in a unit, loose material from basement wall which can compromise foundation if not fixed, etc...).

For brevity's sake, I understand the merit of seller's not paying professionals to negotiate against them and I am a proponent of brokers having greater flexibility and influence on compensation allocated, as it provides all parties greater chance of compromise.

I agree with Nathan..... there should be a compromise to make both happy.But legally the camera is pointing towards his vehicle, in his parking assigned space and if its also viewing a common public area, there is no invasion of privacy... its a common shared access area.

To me it seems like a decent compromise in the need for housing and the ability for home owners to make decisions about the highest and best use for their own property.Currently working on being able to put an ADU on a SFH property in a Denver metro suburb and the process is sooooo cumbersome, so I am glad that hopefully others won't have to deal with that process for much longer
