Nouveau Riche is the same even though I don’t think it is a true pyramid (not too sure though) they get you interested by advertising “RE investor looking for apprentice: 20,000.00†If you take the ad at face value one would be led to believe the “investor†was going to pay you a salary to help him with his business and teach you the ropes.

A prudent investor doesn't seek quick riches through shortcuts.

No matter whether your Rich or poor, city or countryfolk.

Because the reality is that one deal won't make you rich, but the continuous growth you get by doing deals and building your skills, network, and expertise will create the foundation to get you there! 

Most people are not rich there, look at the cars. 

I have most recently read in the last 2 weeks, Poor Dad Rich Dad and Bigger Pockets Invest In Real Estate the Ultimate Beginners Guide to Getting Started.

My goal is to be filthy rich and set my family up for generations. maybe I should pay the mortgages faster?

You only do that if you are rich enough to afford it. 

One of the first books Dave gave me to read was, Rich Dad Poor Dad.

Recognize in this RE environment it is unlikely to be a get rich quick environment without a full time dedication to value adds.
