Don't get me started on that racket!

Probate is a nightmare and a legal racket!

Had 20 years success in running my own mid-size businesses --  the last 2 years went bad - part my fault, part stuff out of my control - hence, I got out of the racket earlier than I thought I would) so based on retirement calculators, talks with advisors, and - knowing - that there's risks in life. - -- if I make a long term ROI on all my investments of 5% - I'm ok.  

When I did the numbers, I decided I had to try to sell without a realtor, I felt the entire process was a total racket.

I just hate doing things over and I just think insurance is a racket anyway.

Whatever company is trying to sell you on 10% management fees has a good racket going - Don't get played!

Is this all just a racket and I need to wait for some economic collapse?

-student loans are a racket. if you can afford to go with minimal debt then it may be a good investment for you. if you have to take out a lot of loans i would suggest get a degree in something that translates into a good job, something like accounting, hard sciences, that way you will have a good shot of being able to pay off said loans soon after graduationConsidering your position with your mentor.

I guess that is only some places....not Chicago.Incredible racket they have going.
