I think Portland has a fairly strong and diverseeconomy, big and strong employers are Nike and Intel.

Not sure if I am doing that math correctly though.Still not a bad deal I dont think, there are two other replica properties in that same neighborhood that need some work...also looking into those as well.

The reason is to MAKE MONEY, you wouldn't buy stock in GOOGLE or NIKE if you KNEW it was going to LOSE MONEY every month for years, on the OFF CHANCE that it would appreciate enough to sell it for a profit.

Some I did very well (NIKE, WENDYS, MICROSOFT) other I took some pretty bad losses on (JDS UNIPHASE).

I've done well with most of my individual stokcs but none as good as.NKE, That's Nike, the guys with the "swoosh", Michale Jordan did great things for them, and a young guy named Tiger Woods has really moved this stock.

If one of us had given up a pair of Nike shoes we would be $1000+ richer.
