Has anyone heard of a company called NOMAD

There is a flaw in the business model and thier internal processes need a lot of work.First the good,Yes, I got paid every month.Nomad found me good renters.Next the badDue to needing to make the guaranteed rent they rented my unit below market valueIn communicating with Nomad they were disorganized, often sending conflicting messages and not alignedNomad offered to find me a repair company, that compnany charged $400 for a $25 dollar part and I was stuck with Nomad saying "not their problem" and the vendor saying Nomad was the client not me.Nomad was horrible to my renters as their property management term ended.

De nada 😎I don't know that market at all (FYI, I don't see this is other Midwest markets where my CFO clients buy properties), but I suspect it's related to perhaps the international investors that agent may work with...they are often cash buyers as it's very difficult to borrow here if you're not a U.S. citizen.

We've seen this soooo many times in our Detroit market:(Have actually had owners choose not to do business with us because their previous PMC didn't require it - so, they thought we were the incompetent ones.Have also seen incompetent PMCs wiring funds internationally to owners - and these owners not having an ITIN, EIN or SSN!

Unfortunately, most PMC contracts are pretty vague making it a challenge to get useful information.3) A mix of the two aboveSome PMCs have internal handyman type ServiceTechs for small jobs that they bill hourly for, but get bids for any job requiring a licensed contractor. An owner should understand what type(s) of the above that their PMC uses and discuss as necessary to better understand.THE CHALLENGES OF GETTING 3 BIDSWe wanted to touch on this topic because it seems to be a pain point between PMCs and owners. In theory, it's easy to get multiple bids - you just search online for companies and contact them to get a bid.
