I am helping my in-laws from California (Cathedral city, next to Palm Springs) and a few others from California build their rental empire out here.

Does anyone have any experience operating a rental in Indian Wells, Palm Desert, or Cathedral City where only stays longer than 28 days are allowed?

What about Cathedral City / Palm Springs areas?

We had to use a LOT of batt insulation on this house because of all the cathedral ceilings.

I have been keeping an eye out around morena valley, beaumont and north cathedral city but nothing is cash flowing like the properties can in AZ that I see on the mls.
