Overall it’s harder, but probably worth the effort to get better returns.

There will be different areas that are better or worse depending on whether you're in search of cash flow or appreciation.

It's even better if you've done it with land that was purchased at an auction!

At that point, it's worth researching and finding a solution that better meets your needs.

Then you're in class and on break and going to lunch with many of the players who are in that market and trying to better themselves.You might could also take an online class from a university in the city where you want to work. 

I personally believe that a better way to jump into mid term rentals is to take a course on buidling a property management company or cohosting business where you bring your skillset to the table without the intial investment into all the furniture and leases.

I have other assets in Canada but I looking at bringing everything here when the exchange rate is better.
