I am a big fan of purchasing larger multifamily buildings as a house hacker and wish i had the knowledge i do now and would have gone for something much more expensive.

Given the nature of your question I am guessing that you have some friends or acquaintances who wish to pool capital to invest together in a syndication opportunity and they're relying on your expertise in some fashion to decide if the deal is a good one.

I fully agree - I wish I had more time to raise these funds and will be more diligent in building a network much sooner in case another great opportunity like this arises.
