Outside of the medical world, nobody had a clue this was coming and I doubt anyone thought a scenario could occur that caused retail/restaurants to be shutdown nationwide.

It’s a huge open space building so it would not be suitable for divided space for retail storage but it could be stacked quite high with pallets etc.

She wants pretty much full retail for a house she and her husband inherited. 

If I never switched into the thought of a commercial/ retail deal I would not have this asset.

You're also in commercial territory anytime there's a retail/office component mixed in with apartments (any number).

We're looking at renovating 1/3 of the train station into a museum (the organization who owns the land) and 2/3 into leasable office and retail space.

A contract with a Realtor to list a property is a different contract and situation; usually for properties ready for the retail market.

The first floor has 4 retail spaces, the upstairs housed apartments abandoned in the 1930's.

Also, if you're good at crunching investment numbers, that will also help - I found that most folks are either retail, or don't actually understand investment numbers and how that works.  

We can sell in what is still a very hot retail market due to low supply, or we can rent if that becomes necessary (or even potentially sell it as a turn key).
